About the Phoenix Tax Workshop

Phoenix Tax Workshop has been a Phoenix institution since 1961.  Our main goal is the education of professionals in all areas of taxation--Federal, state and local.

WHAT'S ON THE AGENDA?

Through regularly scheduled seminars, access to expert professionals and resources such as the Arizona Tax Guides our members keep up to date on current tax and accounting issues.  Topics are drawn from current tax issues, court cases and current legislation in both Federal and State arenas.  Programs are geared toward a casual learning environment, and you have the opportunity to take part in quesiton and answer sessions so you are not left with doubts as to your interpretation of the material.

WHO'S ON THE AGENDA?

Presentation topics are selected and then matched with the expertise of speakers drawn from our Advisory Board, members of the Legislature, Arizona government--whoever it takes to make the subject matter comprensible--and palatable!

WHAT DOES IT COST?

As a member of PTW you have the opportunity to receive 24 hours CPE/CLE credit hours per year, which includes eight 3-hour monthly meetings.  Additional programs are also held from time to time.  Our goal is to provide the lowest cost/highest quality continuing education possible.  For about $12 a credit hour you will receive three hours of CPE/CLE credit per session. A discount is available for additional members from the same firm.  Quite a bargain!

WHERE/WHEN ARE THE SESSIONS?

Sessions are held at the Disability Empowerment Center, usually on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.  There are no sessions scheduled for the months of March, July, August, or December.  A continental breakfast and free parking are included.  See the calendar for currently scheduled meeting dates.  See the Programs page for agenda material and directions.
